Students of Adazi Secondary School learn about the nature protection

On September 18 LIFE+ project "Birds in Adazi" visited Adazi Secondary School. During one lesson 6th grade students learned about the nature values of the protected landscape area "Adazi", their formation history under the influence of military training and nature management methods.

Project manager Laura Jukāme acknowledges that "the education of the new generation is very important, because the knowledge about the nature conservation that we give students today help to form public opinion about the importance of environmental conservation in the future."

Two more lectures in the local schools will take place this autumn within the project "Birds in Adazi".
